The story
A builder's biography, in seven moves.
Every move was a market I didn't yet know, and a room I had to earn.
1985–2001 · Jeddah
Born in India, raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Gulf was my first language of business: patience, relationships, the handshake that matters more than the slide.
2001 · Toronto
Immigrated to the Greater Toronto Area in high school. First job at sixteen. By 2003 I had founded CAIDSS, a youth non-profit that grew to 1,200 members across 20 Canadian universities and colleges, with its own by-laws, GAAP reporting and corporate sponsors.
2004 · University of Toronto
Admitted on a Queen Elizabeth II Scholarship. Left after year one to build businesses. I have never regretted the classroom I left, or the one I chose instead.
2007–2010 · The floor
Assistant Manager across six McDonald's corporate stores in the Pickering area, rotating between them, with a combined crew of 800+ and head-office leadership training. Then Store Manager of a 100+ person Les Ailes de la Mode store in Toronto, holiday sales up 15%. Labour, unit economics, standards, shifts: the operating discipline every mandate since has run on.
2010–2024 · The desk
Fourteen years in Toronto real estate: USD 300 million in personal sales, Century 21 CENTURION Producer, Top 1%. A #1 Amazon bestseller in 2018 with a foreword by Raymond Aaron. Fifty large-scale projects planned. An accounting firm, a media studio, a magazine distributed in India.
2023 · Dubai
Opened in Dubai and began Gulf market-entry mandates. Within three years: a written global mandate for a 14-company holding group, an AED 3.7 billion exclusive two-tower sales mandate, a managing partnership in capital advisory, and alliances leadership for a 25-year US engineering firm.
2026 · The boardroom
Founder and board director of a waste-to-energy consortium. Co-founder and vice-chairman of a DIFC healthcare group in formation. Strategic advisor to a hospital board in India and a surgical manufacturer in the US. Still building. Still signing.
